On October 5 it was celebrated the 130th anniversary of Stara Zagora osman unyoking. The holiday celebration is dedicated to the Stara Zagora City Day which is commemorated on October 5.

“Modern German Cinema” festival in Samara

German Cinema is one of the dynamically developing Europe cinematography. Recently a number of German films have won top prizes. Three of four films presented at the festival are the most famous from the awarded: oscared “The Live of the Others” (“Das Lieben der Anderen” directed by F.H. fon Donnersmark is a tragedy about live in GDR, FIPRESCI winner “Requiem” (directed by H.-K. Schmidt), special prize of Venice International Film Festival winner “Summer on the balcony” (“Sommer vorm Balkon”) directed by A.Dresen.

From September 27 to September 30 there was “The Manhattan Short Film Festival” in “Khudozhestvenni”cinema. It was held within the limits of the “Samara Assembly – 2007” with the assistance of the Samara regional government.

"Reuters" photo-exhibition in Togliatti

On October 3 in Togliatti museum of regional history there will be held the opening of the photo exhibition of the news agency “Reuters», the largest international news agency which has 197 representative offices in 130 countries in the world.

Plastal Group and Samara holding will provide for Petersburgh’s producers of foreign brands of cars with bumpers. The main client of the joint company is supposed to be Ford Motor Company which will buy 35% of the production.
