New Air Terminal in " Kurumoch "
The winner of competition among formers of the airport “Kurumoch” design documentation of reconstruction and modernization became engineering research and a research institute of civil aircraft «Aeroproject» (Moscow).
From 2008 to 2010 a construction of a new air terminal is planned. Modern communications and the necessary equipment providing aviation safety according to the international standards will equip the new air terminal, designed for in-Russian and international flights service. It is planned, that the new building will be on platform and to adjoin to current.
Track-and-field Tournament XIII “Governor Cup -2007”
On Saturday in the Palace of athletics track-and-field tournament XIII “Governor Cup” which gathered more than hundreds of sportsmen from different countries such as Cuba, Latvia, Canada, Lithuania, Portugal, Poland, Trinidad and Tobago, Brazil, Sudan, Ukraine, Kirghizia, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan and Russia was held. The tournament prize-winning fund was 75 thousand dollars. Sportsmen competed in broad jumps, high jumps, a threefold jump and etc.

Victor Tarkhov would prefer giving building land in city independently
Samara Mayor Victor Tarkhov addressed with criticism to working scheme of giving building land located in territory of city. According to Viktor Tarkhov, this process unduly bureaucratized: documentation is made by regional authorities that makes « flow of document slow ». The statement made the mayor of the city testifies to the beginning of campaign on return by the city government of the corresponding powers, which are serious administrative resource.

In the beginning of February Russian Championship among juniors will be held in our city. According to the results of tournament sportsmen will be selected on the forthcoming world championship which will take place in German Obers-Dorf. Competitions will be held in the palace of sport of CSK VVS. Championship can be watched from 13.00 till 23.00, and on 2-nd of February opening parade takes place at 18.00.
