Этот день в истории края. Как А.Ф.Вакано стал врагом

15 мая 1915 года владелец Жигулевского пивоваренного завода А.Ф. Вакано подал в городскую управу Самары заявление с отказом от звания гласного думы и от участия в работе думских комиссий. Сложил он с себя и обязанности члена попечительского совета коммерческого училища. К такому шагу Альфреда Филипповича подтолкнула атмосфера недоверия, враждебности, которую он, немец по национальности, стал ощущать вокруг себя с первых месяцев войны с Германией.

Shiguli-Weltreise wird internationalisiert

Am 22.-23. Juni findet auf den Samaraer Flüssen die traditionelle XVI. Shiguli-Weltreise statt. Zum ersten Mal werden daran 2 Mannschaften aus den Niederlanden teilnehmen. Die Ruderer starten auf den Fjodorowskije Luga und gehen durchs Ziel am Fuß von Molodezkij Kurgan, Togliatti gegenüber. Die Wassertrasse ist 180 km lang. Der Rekord dieser Trasse wurde 1998 aufgestellt: 16 Uhr 33 Minuten.

Andockungsmanover vom Raumtransporter „Progress M-60“ mit der Internationalen Weltraumstation ist für den 15. Mai 2007 geplant

Am 12. Mai um 7 Uhr 25 Moskauer Zeit starteten erfolgreich vom Kosmodrom Baikonur die Trägerrakette „Sojuz-U“, die im Samaraer staatlichen kosmischen Forschungs- und Produktionsraketenzentrum ZSKB-Progress erzeugt wurde, und der Raumtransporter „Progress-M 60“, der sich von der Träger-Rakete „Sojuz-U“ getrennt hat und in die Umlaufbahn der fernen Annäherung mit der Internationalen Weltraumstation eingetreten ist.

Kinofestival „Kino ohne Barrieren“ findet in Samara statt

Am 15. Mai eröffnet sich feierlich im Samaraer Kulturhaus „Sowremennik“ das Kinofestival „Kino ohne Barrieren“. Es wird von der Samaraer gesellschaftlichen Organisation der Rollstuhlinvaliden „Desniza“ veranstaltet.

“March of the disagreeing” comes to the police

In Samara the organizers of the “march of the disagreeing” were detained yesterday afternoon. The policemen took the activists of “The other Russia” – Anastasiya Kurt-Adzhieva and Yuriy Chervinchuk — to a police division, suspected them in having a hand grenade in the bag. However, they were set free without arraigning the same day.

On May, 23 Slovenia consulate will open in Samara

Slovenia is the only foreign state which comes with consular mission to Samara. The opening the Consulate in Samara is confined to the 15th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between Russian Federation and Slovenia. Governor of Samara region Konstantin Titov will take part in the opening ceremony. By this day they expect ambassador of Slovenia in Russian Federation Mr. Andrei Benedeichich and honorary consul of Slovenia in Samara, Mr. Nikolay Ulyanov.

High-speed Zhigulyovskaya circumnavigation will get an international status

From June, 22 to June 23 XVI the traditional high-speed “Zhigulyovskaya circumnavigation” will be held along Samara rivers. For the first time in its history two teams from the Netherlands will take part in it.
