NK-93 testing began

Yesterday the testing of engine NK-93 was begun on plane-laboratory IL-76LL designed in Samara. These are the first testing of the aero-engine with extra large scale of double-circuit, which is the main parameter determined the towing and economic performance. The scale enhancing allow to reduce the fuel consumption and increase economy. The testing will last till the middle of August, 2007

There was a military parade in Samara devoted to the 62nd anniversary of Victory Day. 1500 soldiers and officers took part in it. Despite the rain there were thousands of people on the square.
