In a month national championship and Samara region open championship for sport dances takes place in Samara .

It was declared at a press conference which took place yesterday by organizers of an action. They are the Union of Public Organizations, Samara region Federation of sport dances with assistance of the regional government, the Samara regional Duma, regional department of physical training and sports and Federation of sport dances of Russia.

Yesterday mayor of Samara and the head of regional » Spravedlivaya Rossia » Victor Tarhov addressed to the Regional Duma speaker and to the secretary of regional political council of » Edinaya Rossia » Victor Sazonov and showed interest to the fact of the municipal authority exclusion from realization process of the project « Worthy citizens of the great country ». The project is developed by » Edinaya Rossia «, Regional government and GC «SOK» and it provides the modernization of 168 city schools within five years. Experts regard the announcement of the city governor as a S.R. PR before elections of deputies to regional parliament.

Investments will make more than 6 billion roubles. One part will be spent on repairs, reconstruction and reequipment of sports halls. Another — on a computerization and technical re-equipment of studies. The rest will be spent on methodical materials, creation of new curriculums and teachers» professional skill improvement.

For the first time in Samara restoration of an architecture monument   was made not on budgetary funds, but on money of private investors. Destiny of Samara ancient buildings which determine its unique architectural image and which are still admired by the foreign visitors is rather unenviable. Authorities do not have money for their restoration and preservation and private investors do not have any desire. It means that in two or three decades the historical city centre will disappear from the face of the earth.
