The auction assigned for the disposition of “Volgotanker” property is cancelled
RFFI (Russian Fund of Federal Property) has cancelled the auction set for July 9 with reference to the judgement. The auction was twice postponed.
RFFI put up to auction 5 arrested ships of “Volgotanker” for 85,6 million rub. They should have been sold by open auction in Rostov-on-Don. By autumn 2006 the sum of tax claims to “Volgotanker” had been more than 3,9 billion rub. In 2005 the company was accused of fraud, money laundering and exceeding of authority.
