The event is going to be held with the assistance of French embassy in Russia and The Ministry of Culture and Youth Policy of Samara region.

The tradition of holding the festival dates back to 2001 in China. For the first time the action was held in 2006 in Yekaterinburg, Russia. Now it will be held in the cities where there is Alliance Francaise. So the French Spring will come back to Samara only in 10 years. Within the limits of the festival the spectators will have the chance to see the street performance «The Dream of Erbera» of Les Quidams theatre.
