Today is Day of the Russian science. Samara science still sets the tone in rocket production, space technologies and medical researches. Interrelations between these scientific directions remained coded for a long time.

As a result in 2005 the scientists of scientific complex CSKB «Progress» successfully carried out the test of unique landing laser system «Glissada-04» at international airport «Kurumoch» in Samara. The system allows to carry out landing of an air ship in conditions of poor visibility (in twilight, at night, in bad weather).

The Samara ophthalmologists who once took part in the Russian lasers development, do not mark time as well: revolutionary dicovery of professor Andrey Zolotaryov in 2006 presented conceptually new insight to the human eye structure and work to the world.

This discovery completely changes methods of treatment of age far-sightedness and is capable to relieve mankind of glasses in the long term. Doctor Zolotaryov and his colleagues from Eroshevsky»s hospital, were already recognized by the world scientific community.

Therefore today it could be said for certain, that » Space Samara » claims the status of ophthalmologic capital of Volga region.
